About Whispers on Wentworth
Whispers first opened its doors in 1979 on the ground floor of a historic building in the quiet little City of Charleston. Built in 1871 by the Masons, the building’s upper floor entranceway majestically bears the Masonic Symbol to this day.
Over the years Charleston has seen many dramatic changes. The result: A thriving business district loaded with sights to see, shopping and fine dining.
As the City of Charleston has emerged, so has Whispers. Blending the historic ambiance of our historic Charleston building with an upscale salon atmosphere has proven to be a success.
Today, we have dedicated ourselves to exceeding our client’s expectations. We have attracted the area’s most talented stylists to form a team whose knowledge and expertise provide a positive salon experience in a comfortable setting. We look forward to you joining us as we continue the journey.

We are located at 71 Wenthworth Street in Charleston, SC. We accept cash and checks as well as all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Our salon hours are noted on this page to the left.
We offer the highest quality facilities for your health and well being. Our salon and all of our associates are fully licensed and certified.
While you're looking at our location, don't forget our famous curbside service. Order the supplies you need over the phone at 577-6516. Give us an approximate time you'll be by the Salon. Pay for your purchase via credit card, put it on your account, or we'll give you a total for your check.
